Guide for choosing options

Please read the information below when selecting a purchase option.

  • Select Size

    Please check the following items. Different products have different selection criteria.

    The recommended size is based on the standard foot shape and instep, and the standard shoe size, not sneakers. There is a big difference with the size of sneakers, so please consult before ordering.

    As this is a unisex product, the size is different from women's shoes, so we recommend that female customers purchase after consultation or try on.

    Each subsidiary material may change slightly as the product is upgraded.

    Handmade shoes may have slightly different size specifications depending on the last, leather,and design.
    Please check your size by referring to the size guide below and then check the product description before purchasing.
    We always make one shoe only for you.

    실측 사이즈 재는 법 / To measure size

    준비물 : 종이, 얇은 펜, 자, 줄자(선택사항)
    Preparation : Paper, pen and tape measure(optional)

    사이즈 측정시 펜은 종이와 직각으로 세워 그어주세요.
    When measuring the size, draw the pen at right angles to the paper.

     

    • 발을 종이 위에 올린 뒤, 발가락 끝과 발 뒤꿈치를 체크합니다.
      Put your feet on the paper and check the tip of your toes and heel.

    • 발의 양 볼, 왼쪽과 오른쪽의 가장 끝 부분을 체크합니다.
      Check both widthes of the foot and the ends of the left and right ends.

    • 발등의 가장 튀어나온 부분을 기준으로 끈이나 선을 한 바퀴 감아 체크합니다.
      Check the highest part of the footlight with a string or tape measure.
      (줄자가 있다면 발등 둘레를 바로 재면 됩니다.)

    • 발등을 감았던 끈을 일자로 곧게 펴서 체크한 길이를 측정합니다.

    • 앞서 체크했던 부분들을 자를 이용해 일자로 그어 측정합니다.

      • (instep circumference (mm) + foot length (mm) + 15) / 2 You can estimate your actual foot size by substituting it here.
      When purchasing without trying on, please refer to the size measurement method described above and select the recommended size written in the description.
      Due to the nature of leather products, we recommend that you wear a little more room with the exception of loafers.

  • Add Wide Feet / Add High Insteps

    It doesn’t mean your shoes will get bigger. This option means the leather will be little bit more soften and tender from the original. Therefore, the shape of shoe will be remained and feet will get comfy. When you choose the options “Add Wide Feet/High Insteps”, the shoes will be made according to the options you have selected.

    ※ You cannot exchange or refund once you choose this option.

  • Add Extra Heels

    This option means you can have higher heels by adding extra heels.

     

    When you choose this option, depending on the heel’s design, extra heel might be slightly noticeable. Also, some of shoes might not be exactly same from the original design because of this option. For those reasons, we generally recommend to purchase the shoes without this option.

    ※ You cannot exchange or refund once you choose this option.

  • Add Extra Insole

    This option means you can put the extra insole.

     

    Even though we design the part of the insteps little higher once you choose this option, but shoes might still be little tight cause of the extra insole. The best way to figure out is “trying on the sample shoes at the store”. ;) The shape of shoes might not be exactly same from the original design because of this option. For that reason, we generally recommend to purchase without this option.

  • Change lining to cow skin from pig skin

    Sonshinbal uses pig skin for the lining in general, but if you choose this option, we will use cow skin for the lining. Cow skin has softer feeling and keeps maintaining the form longer than pig skin.

The general guide

All of SONSHINBAL's products are order-made.
Cancellation, change, exchange, or return is difficult after ordering.
Please feel free to order after consulting on the bulletin board or Line.
It's best for you to make the final decision referring to the consultation details.

Product photos are taken from the bottom, and some unique outsoles may have a more voluminous feel.

We are working to make it look the most similar to the actual product, but colors may look slightly different depending on the monitor.

Due to the nature of leather products, products that are directly dyed or may age or brighten after time passes.

It is reinforced with Latex on the inside for a comfortable fit. The part where the inner sole touches is finished with cowhide.

Store in a well-ventilated shade away from direct sunlight and fire.

Wipe clean with a dry towel or soft cloth.

Please be careful about color transfer. Some leather may stain white socks, etc.

Natural leather is not uniform on all sides of the leather. There may be tendons or small scars.

Please be careful as it may change shape when it comes in contact with oil.

Do not leave it in a hot and humid place, low temperature, or outside.

* Hand-dying, Walser, and tanning are separate dyeing operations that take an additional 3 days.

    Exchage, Return Information

    손신발은 오더메이드 브랜드로 주문시 고객님을 위해 제작합니다.
    제품에 하자가 있는 경우에는 언제든지 교환, 반품이 가능합니다. (검수팀 확인필수)

    We can't exchange/refund for custom-made products.
    However, if there is a problem with the product, we will always make a new one for you.

    착용흔적이 있는 제품및 추가커스텀을 하신 제품은 절대 교환/환불이 불가합니다.
    Exchanges/refunds are not possible for products with signs of wear and additional customization.

    Production period and delivery
    - It takes about 10 days for production after ordering.
    - Additional time is required for Walser and custom products.
    - Orders and payment confirmations made before 7pm on a business day will start production after 8pm on the same day, and cancellations and options cannot be modified after that. (based on Korean time)

    Exchage, Return
    - Exchanges and refunds are not possible when options are added.
    - You can only order one product with the same part number.
    - If there is a defect in the product, exchange or refund is possible.
    - Shoes with damage such as wrinkles cannot be exchanged or refunded.
    - Limited to returned items received and returned within 7 days of receipt.

    Exchanges and returns are not allowed
    - In case the value of the product is damaged due to the use of the consumer
    - When the exchange or return period has elapsed
    - In case of arbitrarily returned goods without acceptance
